Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
adverse effect observed (sensitising)
Additional information:

For this endpoint the summarised result of one study (CTL, Robinson) is available, which was conducted under GLP. While the full study report is not available, the results are sufficiently detailed and unambiguous as to be suitable for classification and labeling. The test substance was classified as a potential sensitizer by the study director; this is taken forward for classification and labelling.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Local Lymph Node Assay: Potential sensitizer (Robinson)

Justification for classification or non-classification

The results from a mouse local lymph node assay indicate the substance is a skin sensitiser.

As a result the substance meets the criteria for classification according to Directive 2001/59/EC, Annex VI, 3.2.7.2 and the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, Part 3, 3.4.2.2.
