Additional information

In accordance to column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the study of skin irritation does not need to be conducted since the substance is classified as corrosive to the skin. Nevertheless, in a skin irritation study has been stated that the cyanuric chloride was found to be irritating.

The primary irritancy of Cyanuric chloride was also tested after single application to the eye of the rabbit, according to OECD Guideline 405 and EEC 84/449/EEC. Cyanuric chloride was found to be irritating.
