Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the flash point of -21.2 C and a boiling point of 65 C for tetrahydrofuran, the classification of tetrahydrofuran is concluded to be:
- under Directive 67/548/EEC criteria, R11
- under Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP GHS) criteria, flammable liquid category 2.
- under UN GHS criteria, flammable liquid category 2.
