Additional information

Acute toxicity data are available for three trophic levels (fish, aquatic invertebrates, algae). The determined effect concentrations in all available tests were in the range of 1-10 mg test substance/L. Daphnia magna was identified as the most sensitive species with an EC50 (48 h) of 4.5 mg/L (meas. TOC, OECD 202). A chronic toxicity study investigating the effect of the substance on the reproduction of Daphnia magna determined a NOEC (21 d) of 0.315 mg/L (measured, OECD 211).

The inhibition of microbial growth was tested in a study conducted with Pseudomonas putida. After 16 h a growth inhibition was observed for substance concentrations > 35 ppm.
