Tetrahydrofuran-borane is known to readily hydrolize liberating hydrogen, tetrahydrofuran (CAS 109-99-9) and boric acid (CAS 10043-35-3). For both hydrolysis products relevant aquatic toxicity data was gathered from the ECHA dissemination dossier (d.d. 2014 -04 -24) and tabulated below.
