Executive summary:

The relative density of the REACh substance (2-Hydroxy-3-sulphopropyl) dimethyl[3-[(1-oxododecyl) amino]propyl]ammonium hydroxide (EC 242-893-1) was investigated in a GLP-compliant study performed in accordance with OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids) and EU Method A.3 (Relative Density) using the gas comparison method. The mean relative density of the test item was 1.304 ± 0.002.

Description of key information

The relative density of the REACh substance (2-Hydroxy-3-sulphopropyl) dimethyl[3-[(1-oxododecyl) amino]propyl]ammonium hydroxide (EC 242-893-1) was investigated in a GLP-compliant study (Ferron, 2012) performed in accordance with OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids) and EU Method A.3 (Relative Density) using the gas comparison method. The mean relative density of the test item was 1.304 ± 0.002.
