Di-2 -EHTDG is immobile as it adsorbs to organic substrate (Koc > 4.27 x 10^5, log Koc > 5.63). It is readily biodegradable and is expected to hydrolyse due to its chemical structure (ester cleavage). The potential for bioaccumulation is assessed using the program EPI Suite (US-EPA, 2008) resulting in a BCF of 540. The calculated BCF of 540 indicates only a low bioaccumulation potential.
