First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. In the case of difficulty of opening the lids, administer an analgesic eye wash (oxybuprocaine); get medical attention if symptoms appear.

Skin contact: Wash off with plenty of water.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Immediately give large quantities of water to drink; do not induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water

Unsuitable extinguishing media: none

The product does not burn.

Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Evacuate personnel to safe areas.

Avoid dust formation.

Sweep up to prevent slipping hazard.

Prevent further leakage or spillage.

Should not be released into the environment.

Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.

Minimize dust generation and accumulation.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
