The Biocidal Products Committee adopts 11 opinions

Helsinki, 25 June 2015 - The Biocidal Products Committee (BPC) met for the 11th time from 15 to 18 June 2015. The 11 adopted opinions are for active substances for use in biocidal products used as antifouling, disinfectants and preservatives.
Six opinions concerned an approval while five concerned a non-approval, the latter for triclosan, cybutryne and for PHMB in product-types 1, 6 and 9.
The BPC has also confirmed the conclusions of the combined competent authority reports for two substances.
