Second Lead Registrant Workshop - last call to register!
Registration for the workshop closes on 21 September. If you are a lead registrant intending to register for the 2013 or 2018 REACH registration deadline, notify us of your role using the lead registrant notification webform to get your invitation to the workshop. ECHA is also offering to reimburse the travel and accomodation costs for SME lead registrants on a first come, first served basis. An updated agenda for the workshop is available on the ECHA website. The Agenda includes detailed topics, timings and presenter names for each of the plenary sessions. The workshop will be webstreamed live and a video recording of the workshop presentations will be published on the ECHA website shortly after the event. |

NEWS ALERTS ECHA strengthens its compliance check strategy 17 September 2012
ECHA is introducing a new systematic targeting of compliance checks based on specified concerns. This will increase the chances for dossiers of insufficient compliance to be scrutinised and ensure higher compliance of REACH registrations. ECHA urges 574 registrants of intermediates to improve the quality of their dossiers 14 September 2012
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has conducted a new IT-based screening of all REACH intermediate registration dossiers, which has raised serious quality and potential compliance concerns. The concerned registrants have been directly informed via REACH-IT and are requested to review and update their dossiers with correct information over the next three months. After this period, ECHA plans to screen these dossiers again and identify those that will be subject to further regulatory actions. New version of the QSAR Toolbox to be introduced in a workshop in November 13 September 2012
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), in collaboration with the OECD, invites industry users to a workshop introducing version 3.0 of the QSAR Toolbox on 20 November in Helsinki. Companies are asked to express their interest in participating to the event by 17 October. |
