Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Conclusions:
- The Henry's Law constant of cC6O4 ammonium salt at 20°C is calculated to be 1,37 E-08 Pa m3 mol-1.
- Executive summary:
The Henry's Law constant of cC6O4 ammonium salt is calculated according to the equation described in the European Commission Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment (EC TGD on RA)
PART II (2003) and in the ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Guidance on information requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.16 (2016).
The input values are the molecular weight, the vapour pressure and the water solubility values at the temperature of 20°C.
The vapour pressure at 20°C is obtained by the Antoine equation based on experimental measurements conducted in the temperature range of 34 °C - 66 °C (details are reported in section 4.6)
The water solubility at 20°C is calculated from the experimental value determined at 21.7°C by the equation described in the EC TGD Part II.
The Henry's Law constant at 20°C of cC6O4 ammonium salt is calculated to be 1,37 E-08 Pa m3 mol-1.

Description of key information
The Henry's Law constant at 20°C of cC6O4 ammonium salt is calculated to be 1,37 E-08 Pa m3 mol-1 according to the equation described in the European Commission Technical Guidance Document (EC TGD) on Risk Assessment PART II (2003) and in the ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Guidance on information requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.16 (2016).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
- 0
- at the temperature of:
- 20 °C
Additional information
According to European Commission Technical Guidance Document (EC TGD) on Risk Assessment PART II (2003) and in the ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Guidance on information requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.16 (2016) the volatile chemicals from water are those having HLC > 250 Pa m3 mol-1.
Being the HLC of cC6O4 ammonium salt significanltly lower than the 250 Pa m3 mol-1 treshold value, significant volatilization of cC6O4 ammonium salt from water can be excluded.
