Results and discussion
Flammable solids
- Test procedure:
- burning time (test type not further specified)
- Remarks:
- or specified in description of method (migrated information)
- Remarks on result:
- other: No propagation of combustion along 200 mm length of the powder train within 4 minutes was observed.
Any other information on results incl. tables
The flame of the gas burner did ignite the test substance pile. The test substance melted, glowed, burned with a yellow flame and turned into a black residue. Grey smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, the flame extinguished after 1 second and no propagation of combustion was observed.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Interpretation of results:
- other: 'not highly flammable' by ignition
- Conclusions:
- In a GLP-compliant study performed in accordance with UN-MTC Section 33.2.1 (Test N.1) and EC.A10, the substance has been determined to be 'not highly flammable' by ignition.
