Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye Contact: In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothes/shoes and wipe excess from skin. Flush skin with water. Follow by washing with soap and water for at least 10 minutes or until material is no longer present. If irritation occurs, get medical attention. Do not reuse clothing until cleaned. It is not recommended to remove resin from skin with solvents. Solvents only increase contact and dry the skin.
Inhalation: If inhaled, immediately remove the affected person to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: If accidentally swallowed rinse the mouth with plenty of water (only if the person is conscious) and obtain immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel to do so.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable and unsuitable extinguishing media:
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, foam , carbon dioxide , water fog.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical:
Hazardous Combustion Byproducts:
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide .
Unusual Fire Hazards: Irritating or toxic gases may be generated from decomposition/com bustion products. Under low oxygen conditions, ca rbon monoxide may be produced.
Special protective equipment and precautions for fire-fighters:
Protective Equipment: As in any fire , wear Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and full protective gear.
Fire Fighting Instructions: Evacuate area of unprotected personnel. Use cold water spray to cool fire exposed containers to minimize risk of rupture. Do not enter confined fire space without full protective gear. If possible, contain fire run-off water.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of vapors or mists.
Environmental precautions:
Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk . Dike the spilled material, where this is possible. Block any potential routes to water systems.
Methods and materials for cleaning up:
Methods for containment: Evacuate the area promptly and keep upwind of the spilled material. Isolate the area to prevent people from entering. Persons not wearing appropriate protective equipment should be excluded from the area until cleanup has been completed. Eliminate sources of ignition including sources of electrical, static or frictional sparks. Absorb spill with inert material. Shovel the material into appropriate container for disposal.
Methods for cleanup: Shovel the material into appropriate container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handling: Keep container tightly closed. Provide adequate ventilation as well as local exhaustion at critical locations. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Empty drums should be completely drained, properly bunged and promptly returned to a drum reconditioner or disposed of.
Hygiene Practices: Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling dust, vapor or mist. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke . Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice .
Conditions for safe storage , including any incompatibilities:
Storage : 4.4°C (40°F) Minimum to 32.2°C (90°F) Maximum
Specific end use(s):
Work Practices: Safety showers and eye wash stations should be available.

Exposure controls / personal protection
EXPOSURE GUIDELINES:
Appropriate engineering controls:
Engineering Controls: Provide adequate ventilation as well as local exhaustion at critical locations. Use explosion-proof machinery, apparatus, ventilation facilities, tools etc.
Individua l protection measures:
Eye/Face Protection: Safety glasses (ANSI rated). Chemical goggles or face shield (if splashing is possible ).
Skin Protection Description: Apron or coveralls should be used to prevent contact with skin or clothing.
Hand Protection Description: Glove Recommendations: Use of butyl rubber or nitrile gloves is recommended.
Respiratory Protection: Use a chemical cartridge respirator for concentrations exceeding the occupational exposure limit. Respirators should be selected by and used under the direction of a trained health and safety professional following the requirements found in OSHA's respirator standard (29C FR1910.134) and ANSI's standard for respiratory protection (Z88.2-1992). A written respiratory protection program to include provisions for medical certification, training, fit testing, exposure assessments, maintenance, inspection, cleaning and storage must be implemented.
Other Protective :
Protective Materials: Eye wash fountains and emergency showers are required. Use effective house keeping measures and good industrial hygiene practices in handling this material.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
Reactivity: No known hazardous reactions.
Possibility of Hazardous Reactions: Will not occur.
Chemical Stability:
Chemical Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Conditions To Avoid:
Conditions to Avoid: Keep away from sources of heat (e .g. hot surfaces), sparks and open flames.
Incompatible Materials:
Incompatible Materials: This product may react with oxidizing agents. Avoid contact with acids.
Hazardous Decomposition Products:
Special Decomposition Products: Thermal decomposition products: Upon decomposition, this product emits acrid dense smoke with carbon dioxide , carbon monoxide and other products of combustion.
Disposal considerations
Description of waste:
Waste Disposal: Dispose of in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Waste generators must determine whether discarded material is to be classified as a hazardous waste.
Contaminated Packaging: Please ensure that packaging, including drums, are disposed of in a responsible manner and in accordance with federal, and your state's, solid/hazardous waste regulations. Due to more restrictive waste disposal regulations, NEVER waste treat or dispose of material until you check your appropriate local, state, & federal regulations for requirements.
