The read across substance cinchonine hydrochloride was tested in astatic Daphnia magna, Acute Immobilisation Test according to the OECD Guideline 202 for 48 h. Five nominal concentrations between 6.25 and 100 mg/L were used. The EC50 of cinchonine hydrochloride is 79.96 mg/L for Daphnia magna during the test period of 24 h. And the EC50 during the test period of 48 h is 14.25 mg/L. According to this, the EC50 of cinchonine is 11.41 mg/L.
