This year's themes include promoting transatlantic trade, fracking, endocrine disrupting chemicals and emerging economy needs. For the first time, the HCF will also host facilitated workshops at the end of each day to summarise and discuss topics presented during the plenary.
The HCF follows ECHA's annual Stakeholders' Day conference in May. Read the blogs of this year's panel moderators to gain further insight into the topics of the day.
ECHA welcomes nearly 300 participants to Helsinki for the ninth annual Stakeholders' Day conference. If you are unable to join us in person, you can still watch the web-stream from the link below. You can also submit questions to the panel remotely using a dedicated web-form or through Twitter with the hashtag #Sday9. Only questions submitted after the conference has started, will be considered for the panel.
ECHA webinar: Substance identity issues covered in the screening campaign – material available online
30 April 2014
ECHA organised a webinar to give registrants feedback about how to address substance identity issues that have been identified as an outcome of ECHA's IT screening campaign. The screening was done to find dossiers with potential substance identity issues, a source of concern as confirmed by the latest evaluation report. The first campaign focuses on straightforward issues and more complex cases may be covered later.
The webinar was by invitation only but the presentations and video recording are now publicly available on the ECHA website.
