Additional information

The log Koc value was determined in a GLP-guideline study according to OECD 106 (Fraunhofer-lnstitut fur Umweltchemie und Ökotoxikologie (1995)). However, the adsorption-coefficient of the test substance could not be correctly determined by means of the normal evaluation procedure of the HPLC-screening method, because the retention time (t0) and the corresponding capacity factor (k') of the test substance are outside the calibration range. Additionally, the log Koc value of the test substance is higher than the highest log Koc value (5.6) of the reference substance 4,4-DDT. Therefore, the log Koc was determined to be above 5.6.
