Description of key information

The vapour pressure of FC-131 was determined by the effusion method (weight loss) according to the OECD guideline 104, the EU method A.4 and GLP.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Vapour pressure was examined at seven different temperatures (from 60 °C to 150 °C). Only at the three highest measured temperatures a reproducible weight loss was observed. From the respective correlation curve of the plotted 1/T values and log (P) values, the vapour pressure of FC-131 at 20 °C was calculated to be 3.25E-10 Pa and at 25 °C to be 8.41E-10 Pa. The study was considered valid and reliable without restrictions.
