Conclusions:

Executive summary:

The partition coefficient was determined by using EU method A. 8 (HPLC method). The average log Pow of 0.9 was determined from 3 single values. In order to ensure a stable performance of the HPLC column, the column temperature was set to 40°C. However, the temperature of the log Pow of the test substance is dependent on the one of reference substance; and hence the determined log Pow is at 25°C.
