An eye irritation test (Pharmakon Europe, 2001) was conducted in 6 New Zealand White rabbits. The study was conducted according to OECD 405 guidelines and EU method B.5. No irritation was observed in any of the animals tested.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Skin and eye irritation tests were conducted on T-1540N, but both tests were negative for irritation. On this basis it is considered that T-1540N should not be classified as irritant to either skin or eyes.
