Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a 72-h acute toxicity study, the EC50 of sbustance is above saturation concentration.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
100 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
100 mg/L

Additional information

Comments: EbC50 at 72 h: > saturation cone. ErC50 at 72 h: > saturation conc. No observed effect conc. growth and biomass: > saturation conc. Saturation concentration: 1000 mg of the test article was stirred during 48 h with 1000 ml water. The resulting suspension was filtered through a micro-tissue filter (0.22 am). The water solubility of the substance is smaller than 0.01 mg/l. At this value no effects are observed. There is no observed toxic effect on the saturation solubility of the substance in the test. The actual concentration in the test does not increase when the nominal concentration increased due to the water solubility of the substance is highly insoluble (less than 0.01mg/L). According to the inquiry report , The water solubility of the substance is smaller than 0.01mg/l. At this concentration no effects were observed. Therefore, NOEC of the substance is above 100mg/L.
