Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Simulation tests for biodegradation in water and sediment were not conducted because the substance is to be manufactured and used in dry processes and only in closed systems. Additionally, the Mackay level I calculations indicate that water and sediment are not the target compartment (distribution < 0.1%). Finally, the test on inherent biodegradability and the Biowin model calculations indicate that the substance has a potential for biodegradability. For all these reasons it is considered that data on the persistence in water and sediment systems is not required.
