Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity to fish was performed in a study according to OECD TG 203 under GLP. The test was assigned reliability 1 as all validity criteria were fulfilled including complete identification of the test substance and chemical analysis of the test concentrations. The key study is based on the substance as registered: 3-(Isodecyloxy)propylamine acetate (CAS no 28701-67-9).

The key study was performed with Danio rerio under semi-static conditions using natural river water. The nominal test concentrations were 1.00 – 2.20 – 4.84 – 10.6 – and 23.4 mg/L. The measured concentrations of 3-(Isodecyloxy)propylamine acetate in freshly prepared media were in the range of 96 – 102 % and in 24 h aged test media in the range of 65 - 91 % of the nominal values, respectively. Results showed that round 1% of the 2.2 mg/L, sorbed to glassware in the test.

The LC50 (96 h) was calculated to be 2.20 mg/L based on the nominal concentration of the test material (96.2% active ingredient). The LC50 converted to active ingredient is 2.14 mg/L.
