Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity of the test material to aquatic plants was investigated in the algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata in accordance with GLP and the standardised guidelines OECD 201 and EU Method C.3. The algal culture was exposed to the test material at nominal concentrations of 0.84, 2.7, 8.4, 27 and 84 mg/L under static freshwater conditions. Analytical investigation of the test solutions found a significant decline in measured test concentration over the 72 hour test period and so it was considered justifiable to base the results on the time-weighted mean measured test concentrations which were as follows: 0.029, 0.14, 1.6, 22 and 77 mg/L. Under the conditions of the study the ErC50 was determined to be 18 mg/L and the EbC50 was determined to be 5.2 mg/L. The study was performed to a high standard with a sufficient level of detail to assess the reliability of the data submitted. Accordingly the study was assigned a reliability score of 1, in line with the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997).
