Description of key information

In accordance with point 9.3.1 and 9.3.3, Column 2 (Specific rules for adaptation from Column 1) of Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, adsorption/desorption screening is not required if the substance has a low potential for adsorption and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly. The ready biodegradability of the substance has been determined to be 98% after 28 days and so it is considered that the substance undergoes rapid decomposition. On this basis, adsorption/desorption testing has been omitted. Furthermore, the Koc was predicted to be 237.8 and substances with Koc values less than 500 l/kg are considered unlikely to adsorb to sediment.
