Description of key information

The BCF value of the test substance is taken as the average of two groups, which is 36-158.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
158 dimensionless

Additional information

The bioconcentration study in fish was performed under flow-through conditions according to a test method for new chemicals (Japanese standard method), which is similar to OECD 305. Concentrations of 0.1 and 0.01 mg/L were used to the test fish during 10 weeks exposure. The BCF average of the two groups is 36-158 (0.1 mg/L: 39 -160; 0.01 mg/L: 33 -156). For the chemical safety assessment the worst case of 158 was used. The bioaccumulation potential in aquatic species is considered to be low.

A sediment bioconcentration study is not available and not required for this substance.
