Description of key information

Key study: OECD 201 and EU method C.3. GLP study.
Exposure of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata to the test item gave the following results based on nominal test concentrations:
EC50 (growth rate) = 0.21 mg/L (95% Confidence Limits = 0.19 -0.23 mg/L)
NOEC (growth rate) = 0.125 mg/L
Exposure of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata to the test item gave the following results based on the geometric mean measured test concentrations:
EC50 (growth rate) = 0.17 mg/L (95% Confidence Limits = 0.15 -0.19 mg/L)
NOEC (growth rate) = 0.086 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50/LC50 for freshwater algae:
0.17 mg/L
EC10, LC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
0.086 mg/L
