First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse immediately with soap and water. Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray and dry chemical may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with hydrogen fluoride gas.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Isolate spillage, sweep up spill and transfer to labelled
containers. Dispose of by incineration in accordance with
local regulations. Disposal at an approved landfill site may
be possible. Wash spill site with water, avoid discharge to
watercourses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation. Do not
consume food, drink or tobacco in the areas where they may
become contaminated with this material. Avoid inhalation,
ingestion and skin contact. Gloves, protective clothing and
a self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a well ventilated
area.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 25/50 kg drums. Composite packaging consisting of an inner
plastic receptacle and an outer packaging made of
fibreboard.
