First-aid measures

If on skin: wash with plenty of water.  If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.  If eye or skin irritation persists seek medical advice/attention.  If inhaled: move to fresh air.  If swallowed: rinse mouth with water.

Fire-fighting measures

Use water mist, foam, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or clean agent such as halon to extinguish fire.

Accidental release measures

Small spills may be collected using absorbent pads.  Use soap and water to remove oily residue from affected surfaces.  Oil booms may be necessary to contain larger spills if the material enters a body of water or sentitive wetland.

Handling and storage

Store in a tightly closed container and in a cool, dry place.  Provide appropriate pressure relief venting for large storage tanks.

Wear protective garments, such as a chemical apron, chemical resistant coveralls, or chemical resistant coat and pants, along with impervious oil-resistant boots. Remove contaminated protective equipment, and clean with soapy water, and rinse thoroughly before reuse.

Stability and reactivity

Stable in closed containers at normal temperature and storage conditions.  No hazardous reactivity is known.

Disposal considerations

Toxic to aquatic life.  Dispose of material and containers to an appropriate landfill or hazardous waste disposal facility in accordance with local, state, and national regulations.
