The DSC measurement in an aluminium crucible with a hole showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 110 – 195 °C, directly followed by an exothermal effect in the temperature range of 195 – 340 °C. A 2nd measurement was stopped at 200 °C. This measurement showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 110 – 200 °C. Visual inspection after the measurement showed that the test item was unchanged.

The result of the DSC measurement is summarized in Table1.

Under consideration of the result from the DSC measurement it was concluded that the test item had no melting point at atmospheric conditions. Decomposition started at approx. 195 °C.

Conclusions:
No melting point up to the decomposition temperature observed.
Executive summary:

The test item had no melting point at atmospheric conditions. Decomposition started at approx. 195 °C.
