Although not required as this is an inorganic substance, an end point has been derived in Cordia JA et al. (2003).

The log partition coefficient n-octanol/water (Log Pow) of boric acid was reported to be -1.09 ± 0.16 (22 ± 1 ºC), pH 7.5. It is anticipted that if Orthoboric acid, potassium salt could be isolated from the chemical matrix from which it is made, it would exhibit essentially the same Log Pow value since, in a water environment, this salt would exist in equilibrium with boric acid, and boric acid will be the most abundent species present under these circumstances.
