First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
General notes: do not leave affected person unattended. Remove victim out of the danger area. Keep affected person warm, stil and covered. Take off i mmediatly all contaminaded clothing. In all cases of doupt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical advice. In case of unconsciousness place person in the recovery position. Never give anything by mouth.
Following inhalation: Get medical advice/attention. Move person under self protection from the danger area. If respiratory problems can inhale oxyge n. In all cases of doupt, or when synptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Following skin contact: Remove/take off immediatly all contaminated clothing. and wash immediatly with plenty of water. After thorough washing wi th water, massage calcium gluconate gel 2.5%
Following eye contact: Remove any contact lenses. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water, holding the eyelids apart. Minimum washing of 10 min utes.
Following ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. rinse mouth with water, spit out. Drink 1% calcium gluconate solution in small sips (if not available, s ubstitute milk or chalky slurry, or water)
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: alcohol resistant foam, dry extinguishing powder, fire extinguishing powde, CO2
Unsiutable extinguishing media: water jet, water, excess of water, water spray, water mist
Special hazard arising from the substance or mixture:
Hazardous combustion products: nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monixide (CO); carbon dioxide (CO2), Bortrifluorid (BF3)
Advice for firefighters:
Co-ordinate firefighting measures to the fire surroundings. Do not allow firefighting water to enter drains or water courses. Collect contaminated firefighting water seperatly. fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Protective clothing against liquid chemicals. Chemical protective clothing. Chmical protectio n suit. Eye and face protection. Self-contaned breathing apparatus (SCBA)
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective eqipment and emergency procedures
Remove persons to saftey. Prevent skin contact. Leave the danger zone.
For emergency responders:
Wear breathimng apparatus if exposed to vapour/dust/spray/gases
Environmental precautions:
Keep away from drains, surface and ground water. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Advices on how to contain a spill: Covering of drains
Advices on how to clean up a spill: Ensure adequate ventialtion. Take up with absorbent material, eg. disposer set-ROTH . After spillage with slurried in sodium carbonate solution to neutralize lime.
Other information relating to spills and releases: Place in appropriate containers for disposal. Ventilate affected area.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls:
Open windows, door, to allow sufficient ventilation. If this is not possible employ a fan to increase air exchange.
Personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection: wear face protection, wear eye/face protection
Skin protection - hand protection: wear suitable gloves tested according to EN 374. type of material: CR: chloroprene (chlorobutadiene) rubber, IIR: is obutene-isoprene (butyl) rubber, FKM: fluoro-elastomer

Possibility of hazardous reactions: Developed possibly in contact with water liberates toxic fumes of hydrogen fluoride

Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination. Do not empty into drains; dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point. the product can be returned by the customer to the manufacturer. The product can be recycled by the manufacturer
Sewage disposal-relevant information. Do not empty into drains. Avoid release to the environment. Refer to special instructions/safety data sheets.
Waste treatment of container/packages: It is a dangerous waste; only packagings which are approved may be used. Completely emptied packages can be recycled. Handle contaminated packages in the same way as the substance itself
