Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The melting point of violuric acid could not be determined because the test item decomposes at temparatures above 200°C.
Executive summary:

The melting point of violuric acid was determined according to OECD TG 102 with the capillary tube method.

The test item was a white to light yellow powder up to 150°C and than changed gradually to light orange at 200°C, light brown at 225°C, dark brown at 240°C, and black at 241°C.

Due to composition of the test item no melting point could be determined.
