General advice
: Move out of dangerous area.
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Do not leave the victim unattended.

If inhaled
: If unconscious, place in recovery position and get medical attention immediately.

In case of skin contact
: If on skin, rinse well with water.
If on clothes, remove clothes.
If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

In case of eye contact
: Remove contact lenses.
In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Protect unharmed eye.
Keep eye wide open while rinsing.

If swallowed
: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water.
Keep respiratory tract clear.
Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If symptoms persist, call a physician.

4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms :
Skin contact may provoke the following symptoms:
Redness
Ingestion may provoke the following symptoms:
Stomach/intestinal disorders
In case of eye contact
Excessive lachrymation

Fire-fighting measures

5.1 Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media
: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local cir-cumstances and the surrounding environment.

Unsuitable extinguishing media
: High volume water jet

5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during fire-fighting
: Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Hazardous combustion products
: Hazardous decomposition products due to incomplete com-bustion
Sulphuric acid
Sulphur oxides
Chlorine compounds
Fluorine compounds

5.3 Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters
: No special protective equipment required.

Further information
: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Accidental release measures

6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal precautions
:
Use personal protective equipment.
Avoid dust formation.
Avoid breathing dust.

6.2 Environmental precautions
Environmental precautions
: Prevent product from entering drains.
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.

6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Methods for cleaning up
: Contain spillage, and then collect with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet-brushing and place in container for disposal according to local regulations (see section 13).

Handling and storage

7.1 Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling
: Avoid formation of respirable particles.
Do not breathe vapours/dust.
Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
For personal protection see section 8.
Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the ap-plication area.
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion
: Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.

Hygiene measures
: General industrial hygiene practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers
: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully re-sealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Electrical installa-tions / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards. To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight.

Advice on common storage
: No materials to be especially mentioned.

Further information on stor-age stability
: Keep in a dry place. No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Hand protection
Remarks

:
For prolonged or repeated contact use protective gloves.

Skin and body protection
: Footwear protecting against chemicals

Respiratory protection : Dust safety masks are recommended when the dust concen-tration is more than 10 mg/m3.

In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter.
When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators.
Use respiratory protection (dust mask) unless adequate local exhaust ventilation is provided or exposure assessment demonstrates that exposures are within recommended expo-sure guidelines.

Disposal considerations

13.1 Waste treatment methods
Product : Dispose of in accordance with the European Directives on waste and hazardous waste.
According to the European Waste Catalogue, Waste Codes are not product specific, but application specific.
Waste codes should be assigned by the user, preferably in discussion with the waste disposal authorities.

The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.
Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemi-cal or used container.
Send to a licensed waste management company.
Dispose of as hazardous waste in compliance with local and national regulations.

Contaminated packaging : Empty remaining contents.
Dispose of as unused product.
Do not re-use empty containers.
