First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult physician.

After swallowing: If symptoms persist consult physician.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: No specific antidote.Symptomatic treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media -Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon oxides (COx)

Advice for firefighters - Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.Chemical resistant protective suit.

Under the protective suit a fire protective suit according to EN 469 should be applied.

Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective clothing. Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Environmental precautions: Keep contaminated washing water and dispose of appropriately. Do not allow undiluted product or large quantities of it to reach ground water, water course or sewage system.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).

Put damaged containers into recovery drums.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Fill only in dedicated and assigned containers. Keep containers tightly sealed.

Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a dry location, keep away from humidity. Store in a cool location.

This product is exclusively dedicated for the application as isolated and transported intermediate under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18 of Regulation EC 1907/2006 (REACH-Regulation).

Respiratory protection: In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.

Protection of hands: Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation. For the contact gloves made of the following materials are suitable: Rubber gloves.

Eye protection: Safety glasses

Body protection: Use protective suit with self-contained breathing apparatus.

Limitation and supervision of exposure into

the environment: Avoid spillage of product into the environment.

If possible use this material only in closed systems and devices. In case of open plant systems use local exhaust and collecting trays. Follow emission limit values. Measures in case of unwanted emissions should be established.

General protective and hygienic measures have to be observed.

Employees who use this material/formulation must be trained and demonstrably instructed about possible risks for man and environment. Measures for prevention of hazards in case of unwanted leakage shall be implemented.

Stability and reactivity

Sensitive to: Water: Protect from moisture.

Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods - Recommendation: Must be specially treated adhering to official regulations.

Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system. If possible recovery or recycling.

Packagings that may not be cleansed are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.
