Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

The test substance was tested under semi-static conditions for toxicity towards fish according to OECD-Test Guideline 203. For this purpose the animals were exposed to different concentrations of the test substance. Under the conditions used for this study the LCso-value after 96h was caiculated to be 1.03 mg of test substance per litre.

Description of key information

Additional information

EHMP was tested under semi-static conditions for toxicity towards fish according to OECD-Test Guideline 203. For this purpose the animals were exposed to different concentrations of the test substance. Under the conditions used for this study the LC50-value after 96 h was caiculated to be 1.03 mg of test substance per litre.

Nominal values represent the real environmental conditions because the test substance is rapidly oxidized by the oxygen content in the aqueous phase. As the transformation products are less toxic than the parent substances (no free –SH groups) regulatory endpoints calculated on the basis of nominal concentrations represent a realistic worst case approach.
