biodegradation in soil: simulation testing
Data waiving:
other justification
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely
other:
Justification for type of information:
Soil simulation studies should be performed if the substance has a high potential for adsorption to sediment. Based on the physico-chemical properties of 1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triamine, deammoniated the substance can be expected to to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. highly insoluble in water and organic solvents). In addition, direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely to occur. 1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triamine, deammoniated is used as regenerator in salt bath nitrocarburizing processes. The nitrocarburizing process is is operated effluent-free and is equipped with an efficient extractor system and exhaust air cleaning plant.
