Conclusion on classification

The substance was not biodegradable in a ready biodegradability test. The calculated log Kow is > 22.

Two acute aquatic tests are available; an algae and an acute Daphnia study. Both did not show toxicity up to the water solubility limit.

Because the substance does not show acute toxicity it does not need acute environmental classification.

The substance is not readily biodegradable, but has a very high log Kow which indicates hindered uptake. The substance does not have a potential to bioaccumulate, therefore and because no acute aquatic effects were found it does not need chronic environmental classification.

Proposal for classification: Not classified
