General information Remove affected person from source of contamination.

Inhalation Remove to fresh air and keep patient at rest. Seek medical attention immediately.

Ingestion If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of

water. Seek medical advice.

Skin contact Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes. Get medical attention promptly

if symptoms occur after washing.

Eye contact Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and

open eyelids widely. If irritation persists: Seek medical attention and bring along these

instructions.

Protection of first aiders First aid personnel should wear appropriate protective equipment during any rescue.

Fire-fighting measures

SECTION 5: Firefighting measures

5.1. Extinguishing media

Suitable extinguishing media Use fine water spray.

5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Hazardous combustion

products

Thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate oxides of carbon and nitrogen.

5.3. Advice for firefighters

Protective actions during

firefighting

Control run-off water by containing and keeping it out of sewers and watercourses.

Special protective equipment

for firefighters

Wear liquid tight chemical protective suit, with self contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

SECTION 6: Accidental release measures

6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Personal precautions For personal protection, see section 8.

6.2. Environmental precautions

Environmental precautions Do not discharge into drains or watercourses or onto the ground.

6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Methods for cleaning up Wear suitable personal protective equipment. Contain spillage if possible, take up

mechanically avoiding formation of dust (e.g sweep up) Place in suitable closed containers for

disposal as hazardous waste.

Handling and storage

SECTION 7: Handling and storage

7.1. Precautions for safe handling

Usage precautions Wear appropriate clothing to prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact.
