First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment. In

case of indisposition seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. If irritation occurs, seek

medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment. In case of indisposition seek medical

advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, dry powder and carbon oxide.

Product arising from burning: Kohlenstoffoxide, Wasser.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Personal protective equipment and self containing breathing

apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up spilled substance in a dry state avoiding the

formation of dust (e.g. using an industrial vacuum cleaner

of approved type).

Sweep up (wet powders with water), for liquids absorb using

a suitable absorbent material (e.g. sand, saw dust etc.).

Transfer spillage to labelled containers and dispose of by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash

spillage site with water.

While taking up the substance, prevent skin and eye contact

as well as inhalation of it. For this purpose, wear the

personal protective equipment described under "handling".

Handling and storage

Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that exposure

by skin contact and, if applicable, by inhalation of the

substance, is minimized. Closed or at least splash proof

equipment should be used during filling, transfer and

metered feed-ing as well as during sampling. In the case of

handling in open systems, any dust that can form must be

extracted directly at the point of origin. If technical

extraction or ventilation measures are not possible or are

insufficient, the wearing of respiratory protection (e.g.

:::) is recommended. To avoid skin contact, tested

protective gloves (e.g. :::) and, if applicable, suitable

protective clothing (e.g. :::) should be worn. Adequate

washing facilities should be available in the immediate

vicinity of the work area. After skin contact, the affected

parts of the skin should be cleaned thoroughly using (:::).

Special skin-protection and skin-care measures are

recommended. A skin-protection plan should be drawn up.

Storage: Store in well sealed and secure containers in adequate rooms

at room temperature. Avoid substance residue outside the

containers. Containers should be secured from falling down.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Vacuum packed in heat resistant bags.
