Preliminary test - thermal stability

A DSC measurement in a closed glass crucibles showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 130 - 180°C and two exothermal effects in the temperature range of 180 - 290°C and 390 - 435°C with an overall energy release of 581 J/g. Since the heat of decomposition was above 500 J/g, the main test on explosive properties had to be performed.
