Conclusions:
The GLP study was performed according to EU method A.4 and OCED 104 without deviations and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. The vapour pressure of the substance has been determined to be < 8.4 × 10E-7 Pa at 20 °C and < 2.2 × 10E-6 Pa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test item has been determined in a GLP study according to EU Method A.4, OECD 104 and OPPTS 830.7950 using the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method. The method is validated in the range 10-8 - 103 Pa using a set of five reference substances with known vapour pressures. The weight loss of the test item was measured continuously as a function of time at defined isothermal temperatures. The evaporation rate of the test item (vT) was calculated from the weight loss of the compound. The PT values at the defined isothermal temperatures were determined using the vapour pressure equation with the constants c and d specific for the experimental arrangement. Linear regression analysis of the log PT values and 1/T was performed using a least squares method. The PT values of the test item at 20°C and 25°C were determined using the vapour pressure regression curve. The vapour pressure of the test item at 20°C (293K) and 25°C (298K) was:

 20 °C     25 °C
[Pa]  [mm Hg]  [Pa]  [mm Hg]
 Test item  <8.4 x 10-7  <6.3 x 10-9  <2.2 x 10-6  <1.6 x 10-8
