In both assays (Assay no. 1 and 2), the test item did not change and neither propagation nor ignition was observed.

The flammability of yttrium trifluoride was investigated according to the UN N.1 test method in compliance with GLP. According to the results of the preliminary test (no ignition, no propagation), the substance does not need to be classified as a flammable solid of Division 4.1 and is not assigned to any packing group.
