Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine toxicity of the test substance towards Daphnia magna according to EU Method C.2. The study was performed using 5 nominal concentrations ranging from 500 to 31.25 mg/L. For each test concentration, 20 Daphnia were exposed to the test substance for 48 hours in a static test system. After 48 hours, immobilised Daphnia were counted. No analytical dose verification was conducted. Under the study conditions, the nominal 48 h EC50 of the test substance fo rDaphnia was 176.78 mg/L (Bias, 1989).
