It can be clearly seen that the test substance Laurox elutes at a retention time of 45.74 minute which is far beyond the retention times of the reference substances and even of the reference DDT with the highest Log Powof 6.5. Therefore it can be stated that theLog Pow value of Laurox is > 6.5.

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient Log Pow of dilauroyl peroxide is > 6.5.
Executive summary:

The study was conducted to determine the partition coefficient of the substance. The average measured Pow value for dilauroyl peroxide is found to be far beyond the calibration range. Log Pow value of dilauroyl peroxide is > 6.5. Extrapolation of the current values results in roughly estimated Pow of 1E - 12 (Log Pow = 12).

Log Pow of dilauroyl peroxide is > 6.5.

Description of key information

The partition coefficient Log Pow of  dilauroyl peroxide is > 6.5.

For risk assessment purposes the lowest estimated log Kow is used.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):

Additional information

The average measured Pow value for Laurox is found to be far beyond the calibration range.

Log Pow value of Laurox is > 6.5.Extrapolation of the current values results in roughly estimated Pow of 1E - 12 (Log Pow = 12).

Model calculations also show that the Log Pow of Laurox is significantly higher than 6.5.

KOWWIN,Pow value is 10.34.

ACD labs,Pow value is 10.6.
