Additional information

The test performed on Acid Red 423 follows the OECD 203 gave a LC50 of 50 mg/L.

All the available studies performed on similar substances showed some effects on Daphnia Magna.
The key study has been performed and based on the active ingredient a value of EC50 48 h of 1.32 mg/L has been established.

The available test used for the assessment of this endpoint is on a similar substance 02 (read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate).

Justification for Read Across is detailed in the endpoint summary and it is further detailed in the report attached to the IUCLID section 13.

The similar substance was tested for 72 hours on Scenedesmus subspicatus according to Guideline 92/69/EEC C.3.
