Additional information

The test was performed according to internationally accepted testing method A.10 and gave negative outcome.

Furthermore evidences connected to the long experience in handling of the substance confirms that no flammable properties have never been observed and reported up to now in the usual conditions of production, storage, transport and use.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008), 2.7 section, flammable solids, powdered, granular or pasty substances or mixtures shall be classified as readily combustible solids when the time of burning of one or more of the test runs, performed in accordance with the test method described in Part III, sub-section 33.2.1, of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, is less than 45 seconds or the rate of burning is more than 2.2 mm/s.

In the flammability test performed, test item melted and liquid ignites but flame exstinguishes within few seconds. Accordingly, the test outcome was negative.

In conclusion, according to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008) the substance is classified as non flammable.
