Additional information

A GLP guideline study according OECD 203 has been conducted (Smithers Viscient, 2018). Zebrafish Danio rerio have been exposed to the test substance in a semi-static limit test. Due to the known volatile nature of the test substance, the test was conducted using completely filled and sealed test vessels with no aeration. As the test vessels were not aerated, a semi-static test design with daily renewals was conducted to ensure that the dissolved oxygen concentration in the test vessels was maintained above 60 % during the test. After 96 h of exposure no mortality occured in the test concentration and the control. The LC50 was determined to be > 114 mg/L (geometric mean measured). Therfore, the test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish.
