Additional information

Tetrachlorophthalic anhydride is not readily biodegradable and its hydrolysis product tetrachlorophthalic acid (CAS 632-58-6) is considered to be not readily biodegradable. No biodegradation was observed in a test on ready biodegradability and thus, further simulation testing would not provide additional information on biodegradation in the environment.
