Description of key information

The melting point of tetrachlorophthalic anhydride was investigated by Differential Thermal Analysis (DSC). A melting of 256.53°C at ambient pressure was determined.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
256.53 °C

Additional information

It is assumed that the value relates to ambient pressure.
