Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 440 °C
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test item was tested as received. The temperature of the test item showed an endothermiceffect in the temperature range 180-250 °C. No further endothermic or exothermic effects wereobserved up to the maximum test temperature of 440°C.

Due to the fact that the curve showed no exothermic effects up to the maximum test temperature of 440 °C no further testing should be applied. An endothermic effect showed clearly the melting of the substance.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
According to the guideline VDI 2263, sheet 1 (Grewer-Oven) no self-ignition temperature was observed up to 440 °C.

UN transport classification: Due to these results the test item has not to be classified as "seif heating
substance" of class 4.2 according to the transport regulations.

EU-GHS/CLP:Due to these results the test item has not to be classified as „self-heating substance"
according to EU-GHS/CLP.
